How to Measure

To ensure the best fit for your custom-made garment, please follow these measuring instructions carefully. We recommend having a professional take your measurements, especially for gowns.

Measurement Guide

Bust

• Measure around the fullest part of your bust.

• Keep the tape measure straight and level, parallel to the floor.

• Wear a non-padded or lightly padded bra (your dress will have its own support if needed).

• Relax your arms at your sides while being measured.

Waist

• Measure around the smallest part of your waist—usually 1 inch above your belly button.

• This is your natural waistline.

• Keep the tape slightly loose for breathing comfort.

Hips

• Stand with your feet together.

• Measure around the fullest part of your hips (approximately 7–9 inches below your waistline).

• Ensure the tape is level all the way around your body.

Hollow to Floor

• Stand straight with bare feet together.

• Measure from the hollow space between your collarbones (base of the neck) straight down to the floor.

• If wearing heels, add the heel height to this measurement.

Height

• Stand straight with feet flat and together.

• Measure from the top of your head to the floor.
